Ardmore East
(U3O8 Limited 100%)
The three significant reported uranium deposits hosted by the Eastern Creek Volcanics in the Mt Isa area, on the western side of the Precambrian inlier of northwest Queensland are Valhalla, Skal and Andersons Lode, all of which have geological similarities to the Ardmore prospect. Several vein-type uranium occurrences occur in the tenement area with airborne channel signatures. A uranium channel radiometric anomaly ("Black Sunday anomaly") is over 500 metres long and 200 metres wide occurs along strike and to the north. The uranium mineralisation at the Black Sunday anomaly is located on the upper contact between an altered basic tuff and Mount Guide Quartzite. The primary uranium mineralisation is brannerite, with secondary mineralisation as carnotite, tyuyamunite and meta-autunite.
U3O8 Limited has flown a detailed magnetic and radiometric survey over the tenement area.
